Saw this on a Wakefield FB group last week. Seems to be true now he is leaving Leigh

If rumours are true and he is coming to us, I expect we'll be spending up to the cap and signing at least 1 marquee next year.

Otherwise Chester wouldn't come without being able to spend like he has at Leigh.

I am led to believe chizzy is joing cas but am not sure if he's taking a break first with his family and joining in the off season ,things change time will tell

You can obviously see why he would be allowed to leave Leigh early. It would be a conflict of interest if he kept on being the DOR for Leigh knowing full well next year he’s recruiting players for Cas. Would be a weird position for both clubs going for player X and him being in charge of it.

I’d be really pleased if we could convince CC to come to Cas, but I can’t help feel we’re the smokescreen in this & he’ll end up somewhere else.
