Re: Jordan lane.
Lucrative 4 year deal? Sorry but i hope not. He is bang average. Doesn’t lack effort but lacks the size to be particularly effective (sound familiar?).
Re: Jordan lane.
5foot 10 inch tall
Re: Jordan lane.
To be fair he’s a workhorse and a position we need.

Re: Jordan lane.
Well done Lane! A foundation for what is to come,I hope.

McGuire as already said he does not see Lawler as a 2nd rower.Derbyshiretiger wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 07:45Not sure we're short in second row. Especially if we sign quality props. Lawler and Mellor first choice 2nds with plenty of back up
Re: Jordan lane.
Probably because in this side he’s one of our best 4 props, mainly because the others are useless. In a team with 4 decent genuine props he’s a second row every day of the week.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 09:24McGuire as already said he does not see Lawler as a 2nd rower.Derbyshiretiger wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 07:45Not sure we're short in second row. Jordan Lane isn’t a bad player, nothing special but ok. But it comes down to value for money. On a two year deal on average SL money he’s an alright signing. On a four year deal on big money it's a poor signing.
