Appears almost businesslike…. and we’ve not always been able to say that.

Re: More new investment
I dread to think what would have happened to the club without Martin coming on board when he did.
Re: More new investment
Give him time and he will sort things on and off the field like you say that's not always been the case down lane sadly

Re: More new investment
Because we have learned never to be overly optimistic. I’m now almost optimistic.
Re: More new investment
He also hinted about doing something with some of the land ie. Selling or renting it out . Not sure if that's a good thing or not .Mysterio wrote: ↑22 Nov 2024, 20:32 https://www.totalrl.com/castleford-tige ... ague-club/
Sounds like Martin is making great strides!

Think he was talking about if ground got done we may make the training pitch a function room so we can hire it out all year around.
If I remember right he said a while back they was loads of places to train in area.

He talked about developing stuff that might bring cash in. Could be wrong but don’t remember any mention of sellingscottiger wrote: ↑23 Nov 2024, 14:05He also hinted about doing something with some of the land ie. Selling or renting it out . Re: More new investment
What can you do with the land unless you build something on it . Like I said I dont know if it's good or bad just something what got my attention.Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑23 Nov 2024, 15:14He talked about developing stuff that might bring cash in. Surely the best thing to do would keep all training facilities at the ground .

Re: More new investment
good to see the pod cast back with a great interview with Mr Jepson who mentioned another person who has come on board from Barhale, all very positive.
Re: More new investment
It makes more sense to have your own facilities. But it all comes down to £££5menofsteel wrote: ↑23 Nov 2024, 16:05Not necessarily . If you can generate more income from use of training pitch than it costs to hire somewhere else to train , then it makes more sense to train elsewhere.

Re: More new investment
Makes more sense to use your assets to generate income to either keep the club afloat or even better, improve it, whilst hopefully hiring better off site training facilitiesscottiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 13:43It makes more sense to have your own facilities. Re: More new investment
How about build your own and rent that out when the team don't need it .Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 15:06Makes more sense to use your assets to generate income to either keep the club afloat or even better, improve it, whilst hopefully hiring better off site training facilitiesscottiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 13:43It makes more sense to have your own facilities. Re: More new investment
Again , that would all depend on the income generated . If we can find a way to generate more income from use of the training ground than we would from hiring out the facilities when not in use , then we would be better doing so and training off sitescottiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 15:31How about build your own and rent that out when the team don't need it .Tamworth Tiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 15:06Makes more sense to use your assets to generate income to either keep the club afloat or even better, improve it, whilst hopefully hiring better off site training facilitiesscottiger wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 13:43It makes more sense to have your own facilities. Re: More new investment
It’s ok building new facilities around the old training pitch.
When the new main stand is destroyed and a new one build, won’t part of the training pitch be used, or is there enough room for new stand and new training pitch.

Re: More new investment
Hi OCL , I think the original plans were to build a new main stand and a new 4G training pitch . However , MJ has said he is looking into this to see if the land that would be used for the 4G training pitch can be used for another purpose/building to generate more income for the club, and if necessary take our training off site.old cas lass wrote: ↑25 Nov 2024, 13:06 It’s ok building new facilities around the old training pitch.
