I stand corrected. Was talking to two players who said they started this coming Monday.

If its his first session I'm not sure we can blame our S and C unless they have done something absolutely daft.

Cant help but think he just doesnt have the durability to be a pro athlete.

Huddersfield have today announced a new head of performance including leading their strength & conditioning. Hull have brought in new s&c and medical staff. Wakefield have some of the best around in Cooper and Crowther. If we haven’t improved our own S&C and physio departments then we get everything we deserve.

Injured before being announced has signed that must be a first.

Easy, you run too quick into the deep end too early without warming up.

Professional sports players should know how to warm up properly to avoid. Injuries in training.

Accidents happen in every work place, in every profession the world over. Why do you think sportsmen are magically exempt from this phenomenon?

You can pull a hamstring at any time even after an extensive warm up. Nobody to blame it just happens

You can, but it's less likely if you keep the training session within limits to what your muscles, tendons and ligaments have been exposed to for previous weeks or months.

This place is ridiculous at times, you don’t even know if this rumour is true. Baring in mind pre season training has only started this morning ( Monday). But as always in true casforum style you jump straight on the backs of the S&C team at the club. I’d love to know what your qualifications are in this area to enable you to be so knowledgeable and highly critical in this area ? You don’t even know if this rumour is true, if so the severity of the injury or how it happened? He could have been cutting his grass at home for all we know . To start blaming the S&C team is absolutely ridiculous.

Considering pre-season has only officially started this morning, I find it hard to lay blame with the S&C team.

Any injury, IF it has occurred, is on the player, he may have been doing his own fitness programme, having not played for the best part of 2 years. This isn't on our S&C.
