Its pretty obvious, you could have best pack in world but with rubbish backs you'd struggle. You could have best winger in world but playing outside a rubbish centre he'd be wasted. You could use this for almost every position.

Re: More go forward
The ever reliable rugby league journalist from Bradford mick game caller saying we’re in talking to loan Dan okoro from KR.

Re: More go forward
The signature of a proven prop forward is now approaching an emergency.
It's one position we may have to pay slightly overs in the UK or sign an NRL forward.
I get the feeling we're going to wait to see who falls out of favour at the start of the 25 season

Sorry I think I’ve got wrong player mixed up apparently he’s said doro
Re: More go forward
Thought we would have announced some more signings by now.
Looks like we haven’t anything lined up
So it’s back to scraping the barrel now for pound lane forwards.

Why would we be holding announcements back at this stage?

Re: More go forward
So we know we’ve got 1 quota spot, that has to go on a prop for me number 1 priority.
So props we’ve got:
Westy
Watts
Namo
Lawler (I don’t thinks a prop)
Hudson
Hall
Mustpha
Griffin
Matjevev
Out of them 9 I couldn’t tell you who are best prop is.
Onto back row
We’ve got
Mellor
Lawler
Griffin (used to play there).
We’ve got 3 players signed on are books that can cover that position it isn’t enough.

Re: More go forward
It's a salient point, there'sno real reason to delay now. Usually there is a reason for holding off annoucing signings - players season not over, waiting to coincide with the season tcket launch, to boost sales when the new shirt comes out etc. None of those apply, they all been done a while. So you have to summise that it's because we have no signings ready to announce and that is rather worrying given how soon pre-season training starts.
I'm holding on to the hope that it is because since initial discussions with players we started we've now got a new owner (and with it a higher budget) and a new coach so the calibre of player we are looking at has changed quite late on and we are fishing in a better quality pond. I hope thats the case anyway!
