Confirmed.

Post by heritage1926 » 23 Oct 2024, 10:33

IT'S OFFICIAL!

Not only are we a Super League club, we are a grade A status club. Who'd have thought that in their wildest dreams?!.

First and foremost, congratulations to everyone involved in the club and I include us the fans in that too. At a time when things looked bleak, everyone at the club has stepped up, come together and pulled the impossible off.

Every single opposition fan and quite a lot of journalists had us down and out throughout this season. We've well and truly peed on a few bonfires today!

Time for us all to get behind the club and Jepson and get on board the new ride that is Castleford Tigers!

It really is remarkable to pull it off.
After the first preliminary gradings were we make a pigs ear out of it.
To now have a 15.2 grade.
Well done Martin jepson and the whole team to pull this off.
Now let’s get some players announced.

Sorry to rain on your parade OCL it’s 15.02 not 15.2. Good achievement still but a lot still to improve on for continuing to get a grade A.But well done. 👏

yes the fans have done their bit turning up in numbers knowing some games we were in for a thrashing lots of clubs have not got the solid support we have, big thanks to Mr Jepson with out him lots of boxes would not have been ticked , a big ask but how good it would be if we could make a start on the new stadium that would shove the points up even higher

Hopefully can attract players early for 2026 especially with players being able to talk to clubs earlier than normal.

I for one will hold my hands up and thought we be 12 or 13th but fair play to the club and fans For what we have achieved.

Good times ahead.

Excellent news! First up well to all at the club for getting this done, especially Martin Jepson for dragging the club and certain staff members up by their boot straps to become more forward looking. It’s a hell of an achievement from where we were. And to the fans, we did it! We played our part, that 7.5k average, even though it was hardly the best season, was vital. Onwards and upwards!

Hi OCL , they got 0.25 for winning GF and 0.1 for 1895 Cup , so an extra 0.35

Without it they would have scored 14.74

Thanks for that.
So next season they won’t have them extra points, which could put us above them.

Lovely little video from Martin jepson over on twitter.
Thanking the fans for our efforts.
I’m sure he got slightly emotional at the end.
Our savour.

Great effort from the club! Works starts now to ensure we maintain it next season.

Seeing the list of grades, am i right in thinking that if Toulouse had beaten Wakefield on Saturday, they would be in above Salford?

No , they would have scored an extra 0.25 only , so would have still been behind Salford , but Wakey would have dropped to Cat B with 14.84 points

Brilliant news. Just got to maintain it now for the season after. Surely by then we should finally have an outcome from Axiom. Thanks MJ and all of us for doing our bit. 🐯🐯
