You can here how much it meant the first Wembley thinking about his father choked him.
I still say thanks to them because we would not be talking about the club today without them.
Re: Goodbye Ian Fulton…
Nice post.
Thanks to the Fulton family, as already said without them we would probably have a Lidl Wheldon Rd and an extra housing estate.
Thankyou. Onwards and upwards

Re: Goodbye Ian Fulton…
Jack and Bridie Fulton saved the club and always be thankful for that.
Both very passionate about the club. I remember a story about the team travelling to London to play a game and the team forgot a load of gear like gumshields and training gear so Jack ran around London looking for 20 Gumshields for Stuart Raper haha.
Sorry but as for Ian Fulton and Janet they did not share the love for the club as his parents had and was not prepared to invest a penny further which has held the club back so happy to see him go.
Harsh but true.

That’s fair. But in their defence they always said the club was open for new investment and ownership and when it came they stood aside.
I agree they didn’t have the passion or willingness to invest that is required but at least they didn’t pull the plug and sell the land for housing. They were effective caretakers.

We owe the family alot over the years. But perfect timing to sell to a passionate fan with shrewd investment skills. The future is bright
Re: Goodbye Ian Fulton…
Without the Fulton family we wouldn’t be having a conversation about the club, quite simply it wouldn’t exist. They deserve the all the thanks.
The time is right to move on but their legacy is strong.
