To be fair mate. Not many negatives either!!Gomersal Tiger wrote: ↑25 Oct 2024, 22:05 The lack of positive posts regarding this appointment speaks volumes. Excitement level is low. Underwhelmed.

Re: New Head Coach - Who?
I’m happy with this
Danny has been at the top level of the game for over 25 years, since he first joined the Academy at Leeds. He’s played under some of the finest coaches of his generation, picking up knowledge along the way. Our players now get to benefit from that knowledge and learn from a winner, something we haven’t had in a while.

I think you’re right Fumper although I think that Lingard has had a bad deal.

The positive I get from it is, McGuire should attract decent players to the club.
Not sure yet on his coaching abilities.
Remains to be seen.

Re: New Head Coach - Who?
On decent players I wonder if Danny will have a word with our star former coach Lee and nail a couple of Sanmoans for us while they’re over here?
Re: New Head Coach - Who?
Yeah we will have to wait and see I'm optimistic tho and I don't think he would have even considered being head coach unless he knew we would be making some good signingsold cas lass wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024, 09:49 The positive I get from it is, McGuire should attract decent players to the club.

Re: New Head Coach - Who?
I’m quite excited about our club at the moment and focussed on the positives.
New owner - a man who is an actual Cas fan and is not averse to spending money, who has been a breath of fresh air since he’s been here.
New coach - who has been constructively involved In successful clubs both as a player and assistant coach and now has a 3 year contract to prove himself as a head coach.
Provided we make some decent signings for DM to work with, I reckon we are in for happier times.

Good appointments.
Was speculation McGuire and Delaney were going back to Leeds in a coaching capacity so the club have done well secure them both.

Re: New Head Coach - Who?
What's the hold up announcing delaney????
Re: New Head Coach - Who?
What’s hold up announcing anything clubs becoming pathetic.
Re: New Head Coach - Who?
same as every other announcement hold up, they will wait till we all know via gossip then they might tell us as if it were big news;
nothing from the tigers pod cast either have they given up?
Re: New Head Coach - Who?
Only thing i can think of is they are waiting for his change of work visa to come through before announcing it. Seems pointless though given he’s highly unlikely to have any problems given the length of time he’s been here. Get announcing stuff!
