I read it was a straight swap with Broadbent...
Maybe there's a few loose ends to tie up.

Looks like Huddersfield are now the favourites to sign him.

Huddersfield will get him, as given we can’t guarantee Super League for next year, you can understand why he would take the safer option.

It’s really annoying.
Yes img have put pressure on us to up grade the stadium.
But on the playing front, until we get the nod from img we are in SL, we are gonna be left behind on signing players, gonna get the scragg ends again.
Even wakey are rumoured to be signing johnstone and mcmeeken.
Seems a team in the championship are in a better position to sign decent players than one already in SL.

Yea would be ok with the signing but not too fused if he choses Huddersfield.

I certainly wouldn't wana be offering him a 3 year contract.

Wakey are chucking money around like confetti to get players to sign for them, the money they have apparently offered Johnstone & McMeeken is eye-watering. They are in no better position than we are regarding IMG for next year but when paying over the odds players will sign regardless.

He’s a decent player no doubt but would be 30 by the start of next season so i wouldn’t be offering ‘overs’ on a long term contract for him. We’ve been burnt by that before.

Luke Yates looking like he is off Wire would of been a decent signing.
I fear we are going be left with Hull kr and Hull reserves again.

A new owner who clearly sees that investment is required in all areas, especially on the pitch! It’s pro sports and they should be all about winning games.

You added the word “signing” to the title, what did you mean by if not that George King had signed for Cas?
