Re: [Signing] George king
Both will struggle on the cap space, this could work in our favour.
Re: [Signing] George king
does the cap space mean anything to those that have the money ? when you look at their squads i think notMrRugby123 wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 18:18 Both will struggle on the cap space, this could work in our favour.

Re: [Signing] George king
Hull Kr need to clear cap space
We was interested in Corey Hall too but Broadbent doesn’t want to go to KR and is holding out for saints.
George King be a class signing
Only thing is Leeds and Huddersfield are better options for him and he’s from Huddersfield

Do Hudds need anymore props, they’re stacked. Leeds definitely need one though. As for us, we need about 5 new ones.Tigersbarmy wrote: ↑21 Apr 2024, 18:34 Hull Kr need to clear cap space

Broadbent to saints that would be a turn up, can we swap him for the player he is going to replace

Re: [Signing] George king
Apparently saints crying out for a outside back and Broadbent wants to go there
Don’t think he’s good enough for saints mind

Re: [Signing] George king
George King probably turn out to be another George Griffin knowing our luck.
Re: [Signing] George king
I was thinking we'd turn him into George Roper...
Re: [Signing] George king
alarm bells go off when a club want to offload a player like George mid season, when there is a shortage of good props in the league, to start with a stringent medical we dont need to have our fingers burnt once again
Re: [Signing] George king
Not sure we want to be signing more old journeymen, he would be 30 at the start of the 2025 season.
Haven’t we just got the average age of the squad down? With our track record for injuries, what are the chances he would make 30 appearances before hanging up his boots?

Average age will go up with the younger players leaving due to the way the clubs run
Re: [Signing] George king
You wouldn't want a prop who's 29?Wallystar wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 10:44 Not sure we want to be signing more old journeymen, he would be 30 at the start of the 2025 season.

Re: [Signing] George king
his age is not a problem, it is the reason WHY mid season still in the cup would you want to let a good prop go something does not seem rightMucky1978 wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 11:03You wouldn't want a prop who's 29?Wallystar wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 10:44 Not sure we want to be signing more old journeymen, he would be 30 at the start of the 2025 season.

Re: [Signing] George king
Don’t know the ins and outs but like Mucky implies there’s nothing wrong with 29 for a prop. A lot are in their prime late twenties/early thirties
Re: [Signing] George king
is this a chance of happening? oh, and 29 is a good age for a prop
