if we are in Super League next year and my money is on that we will be, if i had to choose between Wakefield or Toulouse to be in super league along with us i would take Wakefield all day long, boot on the other foot a good number of Wakefield fans would love to see us relegated do they hate us you bet they do

I wouldn’t say fortunate, we bombed four tries, going over the line and dropping the ball type thing.

Bit of lucky bounce for Olpherts try, a Lineham brain fart ultimately leading to the last try. You bombed some but got a helping hand as well. Deserve a place in the final given the season you’ve had though.

Let’s hope today’s stumble was a precursor for the famous Daryl implosion, as for the Wakefield derby, I wouldn’t miss it one bit.

You would not want Toulouse to win the GF.when they are pushing for a franchise

Toulouse good for a weekend out there it finishes, when you entertain them at home like Catalan you could get their support in a taxi

Yeah got to agree. We lose out big time, as do local pubs, clubs etc

In that case it is upto the home club to market the game to the locals, amateur clubs, schools etc. Clubs shouldn't have to rely on away support.
HKR sold out against Catalan, so it can be done.

I don't think it's a case of just filling the ground though . We offered kids for a quid for Catalans home game this year and had a great response with a crowd of 7,333 , but the kid for a quid offer , whilst a great idea , does water down the attendance where receipts are concerned. The season before we only had 5,788 for the corresponding fixture (normal ticket prices) but probably took more money for that game.

With Wakey , we would expect a crowd of between 8k and 9k with full ticket price , so the difference in cash would be somewhere in the region of £ 50k

The other thing to consider is our attendance average if Toulouse were to replace London . With Toulouse and Catalans both in SL we could struggle to make the 7.5k required , whereas Wakey would give us a much better chance of maintaining our 3 year average , which could be vital for our SL survival
