Re: Stadium.
Just seen this on Castleford Tigers Facebook page.
“A little update for those who aren't aware, Axiom have received their latest planning application approval from Wakey Council. They have been advised that they cannot start their development at Junction 32 until the Wheldon Road Stadium contribution of £12,200,000 has been paid to the Council.
They have to undertake and pursue the Wheldon Road Stadium development with as much speed and efficiency as possible. They have to submit a Stadium Delivery plan to the Council for review and approval and, following approval, to get the work completed.
Let's hope we soon get more info and an update from Cas Tigers soon.”

Sounds like progress is being made. If the Axiom units weren't selling then there would be no point in carrying on with the process.
Be nice to get the funds in the bank sometime in early '25 so firm plans can be put in place for the redevelopment.
Dust off those cones boys.
