It does in effect as it states 13 and 10 (with an 11th to be invited) which will only leave 12 SL clubs , so no change , unless 3 more teams enter

You’re right, but it would suggest that they haven’t put in a contingency for a Championship Club going up without a Superleague club being demoted.

It’s not getting called in, the club apparently confirmed this at the meet the directors event this week.

The official notification of it not being called in has gone on the planning portal today. I’d now expect an announcement from Axiom/The club shortly to confirm this.

Should that happen it wouldn’t be the first time. We’ve had a number of lower league close calls and defeats in the not too distant past from form teams like Batley. Didn’t Wigan’s fantastic cup ring end against lower league Salford?
It’s all part of what’s good about the game although those in power are throttling even this with the modern elitist cup draw system.

Are the seats going in after the Salford game. I believe this was mentioned at the directors meeting?

We were talking about this on Friday. The main stand is dropping to bits, the stairs up are a bit dodgy to say the least.
Someone connected with the club told us, there is a lot of water to go under the bridge before things happen.
Ie who pays/fits out the bars/ hospitality etc. No real timescales at the moment. It all depends on how many tennants Axiom can secure and when.

As far as I know , and to get the extra point for the stadium , we still need to sort out VIP seating in stands and broadcasting area . I'm not sure if these are things that the WMDC money can be used for though .

if we scrap in this year clubs like ours at the lower end of the IMG score system, will to be looking over their shoulders looking at the chasing pack with a fear of being kicked out, i hate this IMG with a passion

Unsure why you 'hate' them.

Something needed to happen. The clubs voted for change, including our club.

Can't blame IMG for chronic continued under investment by the club.
We have sat on our hands for far too long and as a result we are way behind the 8 ball so to speak.

Our lack of foresight shouldn't hinder or detract from those clubs who have a more business like and proactive approach.
