Any chance you can translate that again in English for usmdean wrote: ↑30 Sep 2023, 23:07 Acquiring something you want, juxtaposed with a complete non-return investment is different.
Matautia can play anything from 1-12 in CH rugby easy.
An RL hall of famer once said to me the lions dont worry about what the sheep are doing. I don't like the guy* but why is Wakey our talk? We have to take matters into our own hands.

Genuinely know what I was trying to say - but didn't do a very good job of ordering my thoughts there!

Re: Powell to coach Wakey
Genuinely know what I was trying to say - but didn't do a very good job of ordering my thoughts there I really accept! For reasons I can't identify some of the debacle in Rugby League gets me worked up after all these years.
Someone mentioned Matautia, he would be brilliant at that level.
My irritation was at the situation we found ourselves in this year and still- that we're spending as much time and energy on what other people are doing and we spent the whole season doing so with Wakey.
I just wish as an organisation Cas would set out their own vision and give us something to focus forward on. Set our own stall out.
Just made a really poor job of it. I am usually reasonable at letting the flurry of irritation ebb away before hands on keys!

For what it is worth - I still can't remember which of those people said that about the lions and the sheep, but it did stick with me. Success isn't comparing what you're doing with others is it!

So basically Wakey are going to buy their way back into SL. Anyone else get the impression that top flight RL is turning into a league run by multi millionaires who own a club as a hobby?

I’d substitute ‘professional sport’ for RL
