[Match Discussion] Saints up next HO DEAR
Re: Saints up next HO DEAR
There will be a backlash coming from both sides on Sunday I would imagine
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

If it was up to me, Griffin and Milner would be dropped for this one and a few others need a serious reality check.
Milner isn't big enough or fast enough to cause problems out wide in the back row, Friday showed how much we missed Mellor, his return will be a boost. Every time Milner received the ball, it was just head down and drive. No consideration at all to pass to his centre/winger at all.
IMO, It's got to the point now where questions have to be asked whether or not we need him anymore. There's not a position you can say he's good at. We're covered at hooker, he's no where near as good as Edwards, Mellor and Sutcliffe in the back row and he's not getting in over Westerman and Massey.
And whoever gave Griffin that 3 year deal needs to be asked questions.

Woolf on saints injuries.
It was a miserable afternoon for St Helens on Sunday afternoon. The champions suffered a 44-12 defeat at Salford as well as losing two of their key players – Regan Grace and Curtis Sironen.
St Helens coach Kristian Woolf described Sironen’s injury as a similar one to the torn bicep suffered by Jonny Lomax earlier this year.
There was concern over rugby union-bound winger Grace, who went off in the closing stages.
Grace has only managed nine appearances in 2022 due to injury. He is set to move to French union club Racing 92 at the end of the season.
Woolf added: “When you fall over without anyone touching you, that’s usually a bad sign.
“He was with the doctors when I was back in the sheds so I haven’t seen him just yet.
“We’ll find out a bit more soon, but I’d say it’ll be something that needs a scan as well.
“For whatever reason this year, we’ve had a lot more injuries and a lot more disruption certainly than we have in the last two years.”
Not nice having multiple injuries.
Now you know how other clubs feel.

i hate to be negative but i think we may get hammered . looking at other fixtures it is going to start getting nervous for radford and the players . 4 to 5 teams going for 2 places let us hope we are one of them .

That’s true and I think we are all thinking that, but even if we lose on Sunday we are still in the driving seat. There is inconsistency right through the league and pressures and tough fixtures for all clubs with more injuries certain. No one will be looking forward to facing us either.
It’s in our hands, no one else’s

Losing against wakey as really put pressure on us.
Just what we didn’t want.
Don’t think we’ll get owt from saints sunday, apart from a heavy loss.
They’ll want to out the wrongs right after that Salford game.
Like to think we want to put the wrongs right too, but we are to mentally weak compared to saints.
