That feeble attempt at a tackle set the tone for the rest of the evening

Agree gateman.
The whole team as a group played dire tonight. Not one showed any heart.

You win as a team, and you lose as a team.

Whoever agreed that 3 year deal, this one's on you.

The way I see Griffin is he's a steady away bottom half SL prop. I wasn't impressed his first season with us but you can't deny his form has picked up this season. He was crap last night but so was everyone else. Let's see how he gets on the rest of the season. But yeah 3 years does seem a year or so too much.

With a 3 year deal implies he will be the cornerstone of our pack...for me he lacks aggression, offers only 'work rate' has no offload, so at a loss why 3 years.....Kevin Ward anyone...

Not based on the wakey game, but, his cas career as a whole. Whatever idiot thought a 3 year deal for this muppet was a good idea should be flogged in the middle of Charlton Street. He's, Griffin, is the worst forward on our books with no real aggression in his game and certainly no handling skills, unless you count loosing the ball as a skill, a complete waste of wage and squad space.

What about mcshane, we attack down our left edge and cause teams problems, think he went right everytime in the 1st half especially when we were in top before conceding the 1st try. Worst performance from him in a while. Wakey wanted it more than us and you could tell, they deserved the win

The Wakefield coach got there tactics spot on he had his forwards run the ball endlessly at macca to tire him out there pack dominated ours I agree what people have said about Liam Watts a shadow of the player he was in his first two seasons where he carried the team on his back often

Without knowing what his hit is on the salary cap, I fail to see how judgement can be passed.

Does it really matter what his hit is on the salary cap is, he's not worth whatever they are paying him, better
players in the lower leagues .Don't see how or why you are trying to justify giving a player a 3 year contract
that's not worth it

Not trying to justify anything, just trying to put it in context. Surely his “worth” is relative to what we are paying in and what we get out of him?

Griffin certainly gives far better value than Watts does these days who hasn't looked right since the game closed down for the pandemic.

To me Watts has not looked anything like the player DP had since Radders arrival at Cas

At least he won’t be idle for the next 2 game.
A nice little ban AGAIN for him.
