Given the lack of decent English halfbacks around he’s got a chance now of getting a deal. I’d be tempted to sign him up.

Give him a 2 year contract with a third as an option.

reported the lad as a problem with his neck the way he as played over the last few matches makes it hard to believe, contract for me 2-3 years

Yes I think he is now starting to click and his goalkicking is pretty damn good and worth him being there for those added points - although he does seem to have a problem on converting those tries from left side of the posts looking from behind the posts which doesn't suit his kicking leg !

I also need to point out that although his defence was good yesterday and much improved, he got fooled by the shimmy of Currie to go past him, but it was a great shimmy by the way to get past him !
