Great to see us bringing the youngsters in, certainly better than what we have in centre though.

Saw the rumour on the Hull board.

Hope its rubbish, a centre who will be 33 early part of next season and is already on the slow down, hence him been pushed into the back row.

Could have/should have kept him when we had him in his early years….can’t remember the season or even the coach at the time

Majority of the squad was back then. Seem to remember him being our top scorer unless I was wrong.

Nick Youngquest was top try scorer in 2012

With Hull fc signing Sutcliffe from Leeds this could have some legs.

Hope not. Not been the same player since he snapped his achilles, he’s now too slow for the backs and his defence isn’t good enough for the second row. His lateral movement is very poor. We need some younger blood rather than being a pension top up club.

I don’t think even Callum Walker has claimed this rumour as an exclusive….

Good job we didn't sign him, very injury prone.

Hope this isnt true, if so it strikes me that the stacking of similar quality players who play the same positions shows the lack of a cohesive recruitment strategy.

Centres options would be::

Turner
Griffin
Fonua (if extension excersized)
Mamo
Broadbent
Sutcliffe

At the point in his career he is he may he seen as a second rower but even then hes not shown much in the games hes played in the second row and we already have options in:

Edward's
Mellor
Milner
Sutcliffe
Lawler
Other Griffin (can play there)
Turner

With AJ Wallace and Mustopha also rumoured seems a bit excessive when we seem to be quite obviously lacking a big, quality prop.

This signing would only make sense to me if Fonua isnt been retained.
