I had to clear out any saved cookies for this site (I'm using Firefox browser), and then I could log back in

The site is on its arse. Its quiet at the best of times, but the recent down time and trouble logging in has made it worse. Not a word from admin either.

For those having trouble logging in, it is a cookie problem. Clear the cookies related to the site and it will work. If you don't know how, Google is your friend.

thanks for the tip Exiled, but trying google again to access this site i cleared cookies, but i still cant log on, all i get is " The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again"

so admin either aren't bothered or don't know how to fix the problem so I'm using edge?

I didn’t realise the site had changed hands. Have to say it’s been a problem recently.
