Was my early years watching Cas was McGoldrick. Always tried and stood up.

Ryan McGoldrick was a great player in many positions which was probably his downfall as he didn't get to perfect any of his positions.

I think he came as a centre but was usually used either in the halfs, loose or even full back.

I still say to this day that wasn’t a penalty. If Rangi had dropped that goal though it wouldn’t have got that far.

It was Bentham. If I remember right it was also Danny Orrs 400th career appearance that game?

Can't remember the player but didn't Rangi have a teammate on the inside for a easy pass to go under sticks when he scored his wonder try in the corner? That would have won us the game

On Goldy though, he was definitely a marmite player, you either loved him or hated him,I loved him lol

Nick Youngquest was in support and would’ve gone under the sticks….the rest is history…

To cut a long story short, McG was present with some friends of mine whilst we were competing in the Monday night local darts league knockout. I'd done quite well and got through a few rounds and just so happened to say I was feeling the pressure.

McG responds with "pressure, you put that in tyres!"
