Thought Hepi got quite a few minutes on what I saw this afternoon and didn't do himself any injustice when compared against most other performances.

I’ve just watched it on tape and I can’t believe how much Wilkins and o Connor want Leeds to win to say that they should be impartial it was ridiculous. I Hope Wilkins isn’t commentating on Friday otherwise he will be all saints and how small our ground is.

Anybody else think Trueman's pass was well forward to Watts?

Looked it from one angle, but another I saw it look fine.

Can’t have been. The referee & touch judge would have pulled up play if it was. It’s their job and it’s a fundamental part of the game. They would devastated if they got basics like that wrong.

Magnificent from Truey by the way.

So we are all agreed...... if that pass was the other way round against us there wouldn't be a whisper of discontent.
I assure you.....I wouldn't.

We were very poor but can't imagine what these quick turn around takes on players and doesn't do the game any favours.
That being said we won and are now above a team coached by our former coach.
We have played much better and lost so happy with two points.
According to she who must be obeyed Jon Wilkins did not do anything but bleat about the ground the size of the pitch.
What a winge'r.

No team suffers anymore than others, it`s the same for all 12 teams.
He's not saying otherwise

He's just saying that all the players want the 2 games on same weekend scrapped

I think we all have to adopt the same approach that it seems Ganson does with his officials:

“With key decisions in the game like forward passes, ball reefing & offsides, as long as my officials get some correct over the course of the season then I’m a happy man. There isn’t a problem as far as I can see”

Refereeing standards are below what’s required for a professional, televised sport. There is not enough accountability for this.

Terry is outdated. Time for change.

Just put on another thread Kendall as turned into a joke of a referee yet he gets a match every week unbelievable to me

Anyone have any thoughts on the two disallowed tries?

Both marginal calls and dicey ones too.

Didn't see much at game but I called 2nd one a knock on/loose carry as it happened. Was at the toilet for the first one.

Knowles??
I believe the protocol for head knocks is 11 days so, as I understand it, Knowles will be missing Friday. Dodd is out for the season sadly and Hurrell starts a two match suspension with Cas the first one.

If Cas forwards can just dig in for the first 60 mins it could be a close game, with or without our missing players, although Knowles is a big loss.

Sorry to repeat myself but if Cas forwards can just dig in for the first 60 mins every week you could have quite a decent campaign this year. Watts is a top top prop, I really like Smith and the other forwards can challenge any team in the league. McShane isn't too shabby either!

Thought Clare knocked it backwards but the ball bounced forward.
Harsh imo. Even if the ball bounces forward from a backward pass down it’s still classed as going backwards.
Or it used to be.
