Kenny Edwards is quickly becoming one of my favourite players in this squad. We got away with one today. They play like that at saints, it will be a record for most tries for one team in 80 mins.

How to catch the ball, first on the agenda tomorrow.

We were running on empty second half you wouldn't see Westy drop two balls cold like that in a season ...main thing is we got the points
Highlight drop of shoulder show and go from Trueman back hand pass for big fella charge over top draw
Announcer gave Wattsy MOM I agree with him come back to his best last few games

I'll take any old win but that was poor. Leeds offered very little and we were way off the pace.
Mamo is one of the worst signi gs we have made.

The Ref joining in and having a dreadful game. Out of his depth.
I can't believe you are blaming the ref for this performance.
Leeds lost Austin after 5 mins, have two 17 year old making their debuts.
We should be absolutely mullering them, especially at home.
Read my post again. I doesn’t state that I was blaming the ref. That’s because I wasn’t.

We were terrible. He had a shocker. The 2 things were not connected.

He missed:
- forward passes
- stripping in the tackle
- the sin binning was a clear sending off (he missed an even worse straight red for the crusher tackle in the Saints v Pies game)

The standard of refereeing in our game as a whole is astoundingly poor. I blame Ganson who heads up the refereeing show.

Agree.

2 wins from 2 games against both our main rivals is a great effort - especially in light of the start we’ve made to this season.

Lee covered all the obvious stuff in his post match comments. His cold beers will taste sweet tonight.

I’ve never understood any hype about Jake Mamo over the last few years. For me he isn’t a winger and he isn’t a centre. He strikes me as the kind of character that other players in the squad don’t fully trust due to the errors he makes. Time will tell.

Agree. Moore is poor. Cas were poor. Fortunately Loiners are dire 😁

Spot on. Leeds produced one move at the death and otherwise were as poor as they have been all season.

Cas defence much improved from a month ago but the constant mistakes are infuriating. In mitigation two games in five days is not giving the lads for any team much chance. Think you could have wrapped the game up early in the second half if Mamo had simply batted the ball dead right on the half time hooter!

Agree Leeds were awful I think you have to take into account the massive effort Cas put in at Wakfield I thought was a factor today

Our defence looked solid apart from Mamo howler and 1x olpherts missed tackle at the end for Leeds score but Leeds attack was so poor I honestly was never that concerned when they had the ball near our line. That will have taken a lot out of us but hopefully saints will be gassed too as Hudds gave them a good run out today. Worst part to watch was the unforced errors, our completion rate must have been dire. I thought Clare was solid if unremarkable and It Would have nice tii I see QQ get a few more mins if scoreline allowed. Last thing, I couldn’t understand why we didn’t take easy two points at the end to take it to the hooter?

It's down the lane.....that's if it makes a difference of course.

Got to put that down to a 2 day turnaround because of so many errors by so many. Reduce the number of errors by even a half and the result would have been far beyond doubt well before the end. You'd have thought that everyone of them had a tenner on the game to throw it bar Wattsy who came up trumps at the end, great side step by the fella.

For those of you that scrutinise the game more than most of us (and I am not being disrespectful by saying that), was there anybody on the Cas team that didn't make an error today? Only, I can't remember Wattsy making one but I stand to be wrong.

Wins a win, massive 2 points.

Mamo was real bad today, not sure if we will see him come good.
