McShane

I'm of the opinion that our current position is due to the horrendous form of Macca.
I'm at a loss to comprehend how a previous MOS is now utterly struggling to perform anything like his true potential.
Match after match he simply 'shovels' the ball to 1st receiver.
No scoots, no runaround, he would on current form have difficulty getting in Lock Lanes team.
His facial e expression gives the impression hes not enjoying his 'footy'.
The cup game at HKR last year he gave a master class, single handedly won it for us...last night subbed 'to improve our ruck area' this from our coach.
Why? I think most supporters will guess the common denominator in his dilema.

He went through a phase before under DP where he stopped running from dummy half I put it down to he's carrying a injury but I've no idea if that's the case shadow of the player who won MOS at the moment anyway

At all of his previous clubs, he slumped like this before making his next move. In his time with us, we all thought he’d found his home & was clearly playing with the best form of his life. I hope to god that this is him carrying a bit of a knock & that’s he’s not unhappy & back to the ‘slump before a move’ phase.

Maybe the rumours of him not being happy and wanting out are true perhaps. 80% of games we win, are because McShane steps up, when he doesn't, results like last night happen.

What rumours about him being unhappy and wanting out.
This is the first time I’ve heard this.

Those rumours that he was unhappy but then signed a 5-year deal with the club!!

Macca is quickly playing himself out of a world cup squad spot, doesn't look interested at the minute.

Then I’m glad he went off.
If he had been kept on, made a knock worse & missed Easter, we’d be in trouble.

That’s hardly like for like.
With Robb in his place, we’re understaffed at best!

Easter is a real tester for all teams, this is where strength in depth comes into play.

Turner will be a huge loss for us if he’s out for Easter, which looked almost certain with how he held his arm as he left.
