Leeds Rhinos have announced that Head Coach Richard Agar has taken the decision to stand down from his role with the first team squad with immediate effect but will have a future role at the club, which will be confirmed at a later date.

JJB and his passion might play well for them in the cup. Coaching wise, not a lot can change in a week but hearing him speak I would suggest they will be up for it.

Not sure how their stars will feel about tub-thumping Churchillian prep, but can't make them a lot worse.

Strange, stepped down, gone but not really gone announcement.

Never rated Agar one iota !!

He plods around if he is a top SL coach ! He'd be better coaching an under 7 side !!!

I wonder what the fall out was all about with Gale ! I bet Gale found him to be full of shi-boodle also !!

Seems to be a confirmed story of Tony Smith returning to Leeds, possibly fueled by the fact he didn't turn up for the KR press conference..?
