Will Pryce
Anyone seen the absolute brain fart that Pryce Jr came up with today at Hull FC? Let's see what our infamous rfl disciplinary dept come up with for that
Re: Will Pryce
He didn't miss did he,lol. Could guarantee it would be 4 games if it were Wattsy so he'll probably get 2.

Re: Will Pryce
Oh dear! Not a good one that. The RFL gradings say grade E/F for Driving player into ground on head or neck. Let’s see what Cullen and his cronies do with it. Wattsy would be looking at next year before he could play again if he’d done it!
Re: Will Pryce
Wouldn't look out of place in WWE. That is 1 bad tackle.
I'm guessing his record is clean but something like this cant be taken lightly. He could of snapped his neck. Gotta be looking at the same sort of treatment Luke Gale got earlier in the year.

Re: Will Pryce
Just seen it.
Thank god he wasn’t seriously injured.
That one tackle could have ended his career or even worse put him in a wheelchair for life.

Re: Will Pryce
As bad a spear tackle as you'll see. Full pick up and drive onto the players head and neck. 8 matches minimum, absolutely no excuse and no other defender involved to blame it on
Re: Will Pryce
As had been said, the tackle is a potential career ended / life changer. I’d be thinking 15 games minimum, if not the season. The lad from Thornhill got 20 games or so for almost breaking someone’s leg and this had the potential for far worse.

Glad the Hull player is ok after what could have been a life changing incident. Let's see what our fantastic disciplinary dept make of it, in particular Mr Cullen

Re: Will Pryce
I have no concept of how to compare this to any other incident this year but he must get banned for as long as any possible ban other than sine die.

How many matches is grade F ...it gets worse every time you look at it

Re: Will Pryce
Ok don't see how they can downgrade it. It has every aspect wrong plus the drive into the ground. If it's seen only as 8 matches then they'll be the benchmark for this horror tackle. Out of all the tackles I've seen that's have led to a ban, this is the one true career ender out of all of them.
I think he'll take his ban without a fight, no previous ban and perfect record doesn't come into it. It's the act that gets the punishment not intention. Look at sticks 3 matches for missing his punches but it wasn't the outcome just the fact he threw one.

A bit light imo, in that he knew exactly what he was doing by driving Connors head/neck in to the ground and only by luck avoided very serious life changing injury.

I was expecting the same number of games as Gale got to be fair

Re: Will Pryce
I think 10 is about right - I can’t see too many people having an issue with it
Re: Will Pryce
I agree. It also transpires he was banned for the same in 2019. It was a tackle that could’ve paralysed the opposition player and the RFL have shown a real lack of balls in the ban issued.Tigers1926 wrote: ↑22 Mar 2022, 20:03 A bit light imo, in that he knew exactly what he was doing by driving Connors head/neck in to the ground and only by luck avoided very serious life changing injury.
