Unless injured why take off Watts off ... He changed the game for me and it changed when he went off

Didn't look happy going off

That game was nowhere near one that deserved 4 yellow cards
Referees need to keep an eye out for players jumping when one leg is lifted, seen out a few times now creeping into the game
Game is becoming boring to watch with the constant sin binning of players for nothing

Agree that try we scored with Eden fending off players down touchline side before putting Truey over highlight for me thought we were going to get tonked at half time need to cut out penaltys and daft mistakes we will be ok

Agreed. Totally ruined the game and turned it into a lottery

Couldn't agree more.

I'm not certain how serious he was, but Radford said on Sky that they would have to practice playing with 12 and 11 players. Can't help but think they'd be better practicing how to tackle without getting sin binned.

Spoke to Massey and Milner after the game. Both stated they are a couple of weeks away so hopefully back for Toulouse game. Maybe the CC tie.

I would pick Mamo and Farimo on the right against Wigan, Olpherts needs to be dropped and Fonua is just as bad. I think Olpherts must hold a record of a player being consistently bad and still gets picked week in week out

Tbh that's been the case for most of last season as well surely his time will be up next week

Positionally the edge defending is poor. Goal line middle third looks too weak. Discipline still a huge concern. We were on the rough end of the stick today but we don't help ourselves.
That spell in second half was great and gave some shine to a general disappointing affair.
Contact in the first half was nowhere near good enough. Pushed back, dominated in tackle and just second best in physicality.
Watts' spell was his first positive contribution of the season. Tide turned then.
A game we could have won. I feel under Powell we would have.

I think today was a tale of the two coaches.

One has been there a year if so who is a great coach, knows what he wants and has a squad he’s happy with.

The other has been there a few months, knows what he wants but has a squad he’s still trying to evaluate.

LR needs time and that time looks like the rest of this season & the closed season. He can then be judged fairly.

A fair assessment

So many trainee Superleague coaches on this forum its embarrassing.!!!

Just re - read some of the ridiculous crap you are responsible for posting.

Most people seem to have the I.Q of a worm.

It's worth reading for amusement on a cold , dark day.

Personally, I'm a cup full person.

Great second half performance today.

Looking forward to a very strong middle and end of season.

I'm a BIG Massey fan.

You only miss him when he doesn't play.
I remember Peter Small

Regarding today’s 4 sin binning incidents. My unbiased view.
Lawler - Correct decision. No need for him to come in Trout was under control and unlike Welsby the other week Trout did not milk it.
True an - Correct decision. He changed direction to intentionally interfere with McQueen and also pulled him back. Not a penalty try because not certain McQueen would have scored the try.
Levy - Hudds hooker. Very harsh no time to pull out and Westy milked it.
Mcgilvery - Harsh. Just jammed in to shut attacking play down. Will say he could have wrapped his arms around attacker more thus making refs judgement easier.

We are in troubled waters as a sport. Ex players submitting dementia claims etc causing RFL to be on red alert. Risk averse approach. Getting like football where players are throwing arms up in the air and gesticulating towards officials baying for penalties etc. Bring back refs such as Stan Wall, Billy Thompson, Fred Lindop, John Holdsworth. All sorted.
