How long????
OK so we've heard all the Radford out quotes but realistically how many games do we honestly think he'll get before the axe has to fall?
Re: How long????
Reassess after Easter
Kind of get a better idea once you have played various teams with different styles....
BUT 0-3 so far ain't a rosey picture ATM

CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: How long????
Wakey and Leeds over Easter for me. If we come away from that period still looking for a win its time.

Re: How long????
It's not just the defeats though. You could have grasped 0-3 had we looked OK either side of the ball. But what we have seen up to press is so far behind where we were with Powell it is extremely worrying.
The lack of structure and any creative ideas in attack, coupled with such stark regression in the key players definitely puts him on the block but I just can't see us doing that as we won't be able to afford it nor do I see a replacement available.

Min 3 wins from the next 5 games for me.
Hull or Hudds, Toulouse and Wakey.

Re: How long????
If we put in another very poor performance and get hammered, four games.
Re: How long????
I can't really see how a new coach can improve on what we have when the skill set isn't already there in a player.
I'm talking specifically about the half-backs.
As I have said before, its no good having explosive runners like Mamo and Evalds when we can't put them in a gap.
Re: How long????
do we have the money to be able to get rid of Radders?

Re: How long????
We are not a billion ££££ Premier League football team.
The financial cost of sacking a coach and paying him off would be considerable.
I don't know Radders wages but a reasonable guess of his and his assistant coach wages over their contacts period would be 250k ++++.

I remember Peter Small

exactly & who would we get to replace him, at the time of hire he was as good as anyone else who was around?stevieblunder wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022, 10:02 We are not a billion ££££ Premier League football team.

Re: How long????
The cost would be dwarfed by relegation. Unless performances improve quickly and drastically, we are in a relegation battle.stevieblunder wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022, 10:02 We are not a billion ££££ Premier League football team.

Even bumbling along in 10th/11th losing most games will have a massive financial hit in terms of ticket sales, especially for 2023.
Re: How long????
indeed we started off with a 10,000 plus gate & missed a golden opportunity to fill the ground every game onwards, but no, we always seem to mess it up

Re: How long????
Was he? His win percentage was less than 50% at a club using the marquee player dispensation and with much better facilities.yorky wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022, 10:13exactly & who would we get to replace him, at the time of hire he was as good as anyone else who was around?stevieblunder wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022, 10:02 We are not a billion ££££ Premier League football team.

If he leaves, the obvious replacement is Danny Orr.
The less obvious one is Ryan Carr.
The fact we are discussing 'who would replace him' after three games is a worry in itself. The question is 'could our results and performances be any worse than they have been so far?'.

Unfortunately, Hull were prone to 40 point drubbings when LR was at the wheel…. We haven’t one of those yet. If that happens on Sunday & we have circa 4K codheads taking the proverbial while sitting in our front room it could get a bit dark & gloomy as already described in this thread
