Well, after the last two years of seeing few live games I promised myself I wouldn’t take anything for granted again.
So, I will make the 450 mile round trip on Sunday
I may be slightly mad, but I would at least hope the players put in the same effort 😂

What have you heard? 3 defeats from 3 after a promising pre season talk wise is bound to affect the mood. Just hope we can get the win but im not confident one bit.
Heard macca blew his top at training and told Radford what he thought of the way training was planned was short and then got in his car and went home

If we could play better, that'd be a start. What the hell, 24-20, absolute nerve shredder.

I’m chuckling as you’ve hit the nail on the head.

I remember walking down to the ground from Castlefields car park with my Dad & a Hull supporting family. Can’t remember which season but it was early in DP’s tenure. Sunday afternoon game.

They were a good bunch but were very confident if a win. I said “Hold on, things are different now. Nobody comes down here for a gimme”

We won a tight game 16-10 ish with Shenny going in at the Railway End late on.

I walked away thinking that the pride was being rebuilt and things were looking bright.

I can’t see a repeat of that on Sunday, unfortunately.

Hull by 20 odd.

I will be imbibing the Xmas brandy if we carve out a win though 🤭
And to prove how the memory can be clouded by alcohol & cigars…..

March 2014 a 19-16 win in front of a near 10k Sunday crowd. Part of a 7 game winning streak at the start of that season.

Considering i went with cas beating Hull KR 50-10 last time. I think I’ll be more realistic and say a Hull win unfortunately.

Magic! Cheers - enjoyed that.

Ah, the memories!

- free flowing rugby
- speed from the PTB
- the Tank on the Flank
- Shenny with pace
- Houghton with hair (a bit any way)

Forwards making brakes down field Frankie Marianio knocking people out of the way
Keeping the ball alive
Forgetting how good a player Shenny was
Daz Clark at the peak of his form

Hull will declare around the 30 minute mark and just cruise through the rest of the game.

Sad to say we are in for a shellacking
