Game is gone, total farce.not even enjoyable to watch anymore and that’s games I watch as a nuetral aswel.you choose to play rugby you know there will be times you get contact to your head, choose to be a boxer you know your going to get hit in face.dangers of the sport.

Reckless high tackle 2 foot off the floor on a player who’s dropped intentionally to ground in a voluntary tackle - the games gone

Yep the game as gone.
It went 4/5 seasons back.
Hence at last I’ve come to my senses, first time in decades I haven’t bought a season ticket.
I’m sick of seeing games stop start because of players feigning injury and the weak refs falling for it.
My final game was our home game v Salford.
Yes I’m done had enough.

I’ll support them from afar. I don’t support the game anymore.

I watched the Rovers game, thought that penalty against Faraimo was soft at the time but to cop a two match ban? Really? The game is now a sanitised version of the sport I used to love, watching players with guile open up teams with a side step or a dummy, now its just big athletes running at big athletes, no skill and very little craft. The British game is dying a slow painful death and my bet is that in 5 years, all but a handful of teams will be part time, you cannot sustain a club with falling attendances and even a club as well supported as mine , Hull FC, have lost £1.2 million over the last two seasons - unsustainable and to make this worse, the game is now a shadow of what the sport used to be like and we as England or GB have no chance in the World Cup. The Aussies don't take it seriously and send a shadow squad, which will still hammer us along with NZ, Tonga and probably Samoa.

There is a distinct difference between the two in incidents to be fair, in that we are operating in a new directive this season.

It's only week 3, if this remains consistent I will have less issue with these bans.
I thought it was harsh at the time, but it was somewhat out of control and the principle seems to be "contact with the head is contact with the head and is penalised".

Watts was absolute rubbish as a sin-bin even then, barely any contact and the KR player slips as much into Watts as the other way round. Albeit there was contact with the head.

See what next week brings!

Just wait for half decent weather and harder grounds, then i can bugger off fishing and forget about the game i used to love, I feel like i have wasted 50+ years of support

RL is not dying, its already dead, it just doesnt know it yet

All we need now is for Tom Grant to be the Ref.

My view is that seeing as both incidents were viewed by a very senior video referee prior to any decision being made, if they were so bad then surely a red card should have been recommended and not yellow, or would that spoil the game for the tv audience. Even the numpties at Sky thought both decisions were harsh.
