Re: RADFORD OUT
There is a storm brewing on the horizon with dangerous waters ahead until we have a full sail set.FIat Capper wrote: ↑18 Feb 2022, 11:36 Topical for today but the waters aren't that stormy yet, just a few lose moorings allowing the odd boat to slip away.
However, the injuries may do more harm and prompt a red warning.
The wind of change is a chill one but we certainly don’t need a mutiny.
There are a few holes in the boat above the water line but we are not taking on water yet.
Time for cool heads & big hearts.
Re: RADFORD OUT
There were a few more positives last night than against Salford but these are what thought fromlast night
-Mamo defended much better than against Salford still question marks over him being a centre!
-Westerman looks a class signing and is a pivitol link between half backs and rest
-timing with the halves and Evalds seema to be way off- it clicked once all game with the Olpherts try
- Fonua doesnt look fit at all. His legs have gone after one carry!
- trueman looks afraid to get involved too much- maybe psycholgoical from his back injury
-our kicking game is absolutely appalling
- we seem to moan and groan about everything and the lads dont look like they are enjoying their rugby
- Personally think Fairimo looks solid but Fonua not so
- we look like we are trying too hard with stuff and its not coming naturally at all
-the ruck and play the ball speed are not been controlled well by officials i counted about 10 10 second play the balls in the salford game and last night wasnt much better. That takes away a massive part of our go forward from the giant backs
Its early days and im sure the lads and Radders are even more frustrated than us.
Hopefully it clicks soon and we get a bit of luck

Re: RADFORD OUT
Not the best start to the season, in fact it's been poor. Its very early in the season. The bod, who appointed Radford will support him.
I was never a Radford fan, but he has to be given a chance to do his job.

Re: RADFORD OUT
Just on the subject of how a coaches approach to the game can change the attitudes of sides on the field .....its interesting to see Wigans 'new' attack minded philosophy, from being the most boring side in SL ( their fans) to how Peet has got them playing a more open style of Rugby

Re: RADFORD OUT
I think we've all noted how much Westerman is involved in the games so far but i wonder if this is having a negative impact on McShane and if so, should Radders nip it in the bud or at least coach a best understanding between the two?
