To sack him would cost a fortune we don’t have!

Lee needs to be given the time & space to settle & build his own side. Give him a year (at least).
If our own fans start berating him, things aren’t going to improve quickly.

It’s ridiculous to be having a conversation like this after one match

I think Easter schedule is a time for assessment not 80mins.
Though first impressions and all that...

We played 2 part time teams instead of a super league club in warm ups so we looked better than we were. We should have had massey milner playing with 3/4 new players starting with another 2/3 on bench and gradually alter squad. Top team in sl is saints fact and they would never change 7/8 players in one sweep they gradually do this. To become a top club you learn from what makes them a success
agree with this, although our lack of a creative half back will really limit our success this year.

as for this thread I thought it must be a tongue in cheek post after a very bad night or maybe a result of an all dayer in Wetherspoons but it seems not.

Or both 🤣

Was absolute garbage - After packing the place out.

However I don’t for one minute expect him to be sacked - I tried posting it at half time but couldn’t get signal 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I dont understand why Cas employed Radders on his salary(whatever that is) they could have got better coaching free of charge from the plethora of super league standard coaches on here.

The mind boggles

Interesting watching the Lock Lane game Saturday Hendo said it was down to him and Radford for the Cas job. I'm not in the Radford out brigade yet (crazy to even say that after one game) As a few have said he needs time. If we are struggling near the bottom then questions should be asked but I feel we will come good eventually.

How have people gone from raving about Radford to calling for him out already? He's had one game against a super league standard team and it didn't go well, okay, now he needs to learn from it and adjust. See what happens over the next few weeks at least. Far too early to judge yet

You'd like to think not, and after 80mins of a new season, we're better than that aren't we?? Hope he doesn't read the forum 🙏

Tbh, are we better than that.
A complete new coaching structure.
7/8 new players.
I’m sure once the players get up to speed and the structures come naturally we may see an improvement.
I told myself before a ball was kicked not to get to excited about this season.
Imo I think our best will show next season.
We’ll see.

As a side note, 👍 for bringing the word “plethora” into play on the forum. Could “preponderance” also have featured?

Just seen ‘latrines’ on another thread. Can’t remember seeing that one before either! 🙂
