Powell seemed to prefer playing people out of position to cover for injuries rather than giving kids a go. That said, it was only a friendly, there's nothing to say Lee will give them a chance when the games are competitive

The one thing I think we was all concerned with when Radford came in, was the style of play. Think its fair to say, based on the 2 friendlies, we're going to throw it about this year. The backs will have a field day

He’s certainly a confident player - I know it was against lower league opposition but he’s definitely prepared to back himself and take the line on.

Just had a look and Collins hasn't been given a squad number?

How can you judge that when we playing a team off part timers think we will regret not having a better hit out we a super league standard team . You will see a lot tighter game down middle first game against salford i reckon best judge after first three games type off game were going play not on a friendly.

Absolutely no intensity in them two games.
Only thing we got out of it was a bit of match fitness and trying out some combinations.
My worry is, the speed and intensity that will come in the Salford game.
Will we be up to it, will we be up to speed. 2/3 players who will walk into the first 13 haven’t even had a game. Macca and watts.
Let’s hope it don’t come back and bite us.

just to put friendlies into perspective. fev beat wakey and jesse and junior were great for fev. no disrespect to either team but apparently wakey didn't look too interested.

Forget who we played against, the structure of how Radford wants to play is clearly there.

Salford will have played Halifax and Swindon, so can’t see them as better prepared than us.

Fair point, not sure the 90 minutes football will help Salford 😂

Wakey were pretty dreadful, physically they look like a Championship team and they played like one too.

Neither treat it as a friendly from the way they went at it. Wakey ought to be embarrassed by this, they had a full team available barring Lino. Fev were the ones missing players and still got the win. Leeds kids beat Fev quite handsomely the other week, so this doesn't look good for Wakey at all. Fev will really fancy their chances this season.

They certainly have a very strong squad - if injuries are kind to them then they have be favourites to come up. Leigh could give them a run for their money though

Fev and Leigh will walk that league. Probably only lose to 1 another all year long. If Fev are ever gunna get promoted I think this is the year.

Yep those 2 are really pushing the boat out, fev still have leilua to arrive, I've seen he's on the plane. I hope they use the 2m wisely from the council and not on players otherwise they might go pop.
