What a thrill for young Collins it must have been to go over for our last try

And watching that again how nice to have real pace in the centre position I read other day Radders singing JMs praise he should have a big season ahead

That was my first observation, the pace in the back line.
Let’s hope we can stay free of any serious injuries.

Just a couple of negatives (sorry).
Our third try, not sure who it was but he had 3 players to the left, any of them 3 could have walked a try in, if he had passed the ball. He went on his own and was tackled, luckily we scored in the next play. Memo to that player, don’t be selfish.

Yorks 2nd try, where was Evalds.

Just a Couple of observations that was slightly negative.

Evalds wasn’t on the pitch it was QareQare who was at fullback!

Ah right. Didn’t know that. So Evalds didn’t play the full first 40.

I think the player who didn’t pass was Fariamo

Evalds played the first 40 and Qareqare played the second 40.

Young junior on wing got caught ball watching for 1 of yorks tries, i noticed him getting caught a few times miss reading the play n shooting in at the centre. Faraimo should of definitely passed that n im sure he would of in a competitive game.

Qareqare came up into the line in the second half and York chipped over and scored having seen that….we’ll spotted York but I haven’t seen many full backs join the defensive line like that.

There's always going to be negatives in friendlies, certainly with fairimo he should have passed but it was a great tackle by the fullback.

i thought the main difference between the 2 sides was metres made after contact. cas regularly made 5 to 10 metres after contact and regained their feet quickly, york didn't. never mind at least they've got a duke and we haven't. ;)

On paper, York don't have a bad team, but we opened them up quite easily too often. Can't see them getting past Fev or Leigh this season. Would love York has a permanent fixture, great city.

His potential is immense.

Castleford Tigers winger faces ban for punching as three York men to be punished
James Clare – Castleford – Grade B Punching – Refer to Tribunal
Nathan Massey – Castleford – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice

Looks like Pauli Pauli is in trouble for the shot on Richardson.
Pauli Pauli – York – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 2 Match Penalty Notice

Your rate tigerfeat, and especially just after he's kicked the ball. Think he was out a few games with a shoulder injury after such a incident last year I think. Halfbacks need more protection..

Can you not post about games and incidents from last season in a thread about Sundays game? It isn’t relevant to the topic of the thread 😉😉
