Contract Expiry

Post by LeagueLeaders » 23 Dec 2021, 11:51

Thought I'd make a thread for this as I've seen many discussions about when contracts are up (Greg Eden being a big talking point) and this should answer some questions.

A lot of dead wood at the end of their contract next season.

I read this post before reading the article and was originally gonna ask your opinion on the dead wood, having read the article I won’t question it there’s quite a few!

Hopefully but with how valuable the overseas quota is I feel Blair and Feki need to be realised at contract end. That’s unless their game time and form vastly improves.

of all the people DP signed Blair and Feki must rank amongst his failures, RE Feki i will be more than surprised if we see him in a Cas shirt again , Blair as hardly eared his corn signed as a top class centre now a run of the mill second rower

I agree but they looked like two of our best ever acquisitions at the point of signing.

I don't think any of us were disappointed when the names were announced, I agree.

Not sure in Blair's case how much of that was square peg-round hole or fitness or we used him differently. But he can't have been a mug making a career in the NRL.

Lets hope we get one the other way this time around, a Jamie Vardy style signing who turns out to be a find!
