Certainly hasn't been raped as you've stated. The players became so disillusioned at how they were treat and ignored. The club took no real part in the successes they had. It was all down to the girls themselves, along with some very helpful and supportive sponsors.
It says something when one of the clubs long standing main sponsors publicly condemns the clubs management of the women's team.
Now most have moved onto different clubs where they at least feel welcomed, encouraged and appreciated.

Exactly we had a big chance in a sport that was starting to take and we blew it
Shocking to use the word raped in that context

What I cant understand everyone knows what happened to the women's team , Its now full of young lasses ready to give it a go which I think is great to see ! But surely they shouldn't be in the top tier . Am the first to admit I know very little about the structure of the women's game but there must be lower leagues where they can cut there teeth and enjoy the games rather than be hammered every week .

Think the structure was all ready decided upon for 2022 when over half the team decided they would rarther be at Featherstone Rovers

It makes you wonder what the hell is going on when players would rather play for Fev than cas when we was getting 2k fans down supporting them.

Some players don't have the emotional link to the club that we have as supporters. A good portion of the successful ladies team were playing as they were with friends and followed Lindsay Anfield - which are both reasons they left either at the same time, or after she did.

Whatever has happened, has happened and I would like the Club to give an accurate insight but doubt it'll ever come.

We are basically at the start of a new building project with the completion some way away. It will be hard to take for a couple of seasons but if we do look at why we lost so many and make changes to prevent it happening again, we can hopefully see some success down the line.

It's probably for the best, but can't help but feel more could have been done.

This was the most sensible thing to do with a very young squad

A realistic approach it must be difficult to recruit if you get hammered week in week out.
If the gain some success in a lower league, develop as individuals and a team.
Hopefully they will be nurtured and developed creating an affinity to the club and are shown respect and become loyal and successful.

The womens game and PDRL are big ways attracting new fans and expanding the club. I really think we have missed a trick letting the team fall so far backwards.
