Feki
Re: Feki
By that time line we signed him before he got injured, im sure (if my memory still working) you said he was injury prone and was shot down for that with proof he'd played regularly throughout his nrl career.

Re: Feki
I said many times he's come over here with some sort of injury. I also said players can play jabbed up like lot's of the Cas team do. If he was fit and as good as some on here make out he would still be playing in the NRL not warming the stands at Cas.
Re: Feki
a lot of posters reassuring us that Feki has not cost us anything because his wage is covered by insurance. Anybody who has ever made an insurance claim knows this is nonsense due to increased future premiums and excess payments.
Can the people in the know explain how this type of insurance works, for example I presume he is in preseason training like the rest of the squad, who will be covering his wage now, in other words when is the point that the insurance safety net stops is it on his first game back, a doctors note or medical? Also he has made two short lived appearances to my knowledge I assume we would have been paying through those periods.

Re: Feki
Exactly. The point his he won’t of cost the club hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost wages whilst he’s been injured.

let em shoot mate, let em shoot. its only words on a screenwesterbeast73 wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 14:54I've been saying all along Feki has brought an injury over with him but got shot down in flames by certain people on here.the changeling wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 11:03He is doing the right thing for himself and his family, maybe we should be condemning those that signed him without a full and proper investigation into his fitness
2019
On 3 July, Feki signed a three-year contract to join English side Castleford Tigers for the 2020 Super League season.[27]
In round 25 against the Wests Tigers, Feki scored 2 tries as Cronulla-Sutherland won the match 25-8 at Leichhardt Oval. Cronulla needed to win the match to ensure that they would reach the finals as was also the case for Wests.[28]
Feki's final game for Cronulla came in the elimination final against Manly at Brookvale Oval which Cronulla lost 28-16 after Feki left the field early with a knee problem[29]
2020
On 4 March 2020 it was reported that Feki suffered a pre-season injury that would delay his Castleford Tigers début[30]

I do find it strange how this section of what you’ve copied and pasted from Sosaia’s Wikipedia page is no longer there:

Yet the page hasn’t been edited since 19th May 2021.
The match report for the game you reference also makes no mention of Sosaia getting injured on the game:

Yeah, let’s ‘jab up’ his ruptured Achilles and see how it goes...westerbeast73 wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 15:50I said many times he's come over here with some sort of injury. Re: Feki
Yes that's it, take my words out of context. I said players play jabbed up ie small injuries to get them over the starting line. If he was fit and any good he would still be playing in the NRL. He's only 30 so plenty of Years left in him. But instead hes warming the seats in the Cas stands again.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 19:27Yeah, let’s ‘jab up’ his ruptured Achilles and see how it goes...westerbeast73 wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 15:50I said many times he's come over here with some sort of injury. Re: Feki
sorry for the lad but wish he would have signed for another club i think a fair number of our fans may think the same
Re: Feki
Had they been local players or projects from the lower leagues both feki and Blair would of been binned off ages ago.for different reasons they have both been terrible signings
Re: Feki
Is it definitely his Achilles that’s still keeping him out? I heard he’d recovered really well from it and was back in full training towards the backend of last season, and was in line for a shock return. I then heard he’d ruptured his calf really bad, just as he was ready for a return.

Re: Feki
If he’s out until April (another 5 months) that will be 14 months since he ruptured his Achilles. That’s a pretty long recovery period for that injury, though the severity of the rupture and success of surgery makes a massive difference to recovery time.daytona wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 23:13 Is it definitely his Achilles that’s still keeping him out? The biggest debate will be if he returns to fitness and plays well in the first half of the 2022 season. Do we let him go just after he’s recovered from injury, or keep him and risk more of the same?

So now your saying it's not his Achilles. Make your mind up and stick by your comments.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 19:27Yeah, let’s ‘jab up’ his ruptured Achilles and see how it goes...westerbeast73 wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 15:50I said many times he's come over here with some sort of injury. If her plays some considerable games and is outstanding then you'd think about a 1 year rolling contract. Whether he signs it is something else.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 23:26If he’s out until April (another 5 months) that will be 14 months since he ruptured his Achilles. Then a separate fans forum copied and pasted it from Sosaia’s Wikipedia page, which you then copied and pasted into here. Either way, the line about him hurting his knee in his final game just doesn’t appear to be true, given their aren’t any other reports stating this injury. Once again, your post has more holes than a colander. My feelings aren’t strange, just based on the facts I found to counteract your usual tosh and nonsense.

Here are the official stats from the game on the NRL website, showing the Feki played the entire game in Cronulla's finals loss to Manly.
