Opinion on Radford!! Let's give the bloke a year or two, and then ask the question. The players seem to be smiling and the pictures you do see seem to prove that. He is a RL bloke and he wanted to come to work at our club, so like I said let's see how we're going after a year or two and we'll take it from there, and up till then he as my full support and long may it continue. He will be judged more next season for me when we have Blair Richardson and Feki off the books.

Be interesting to see who we bring in then.

I have mentioned on earlier posts that Radford has an immense amount to prove to himself and to others in the RL World having got unceremoniously dumped by Hull in an embarrassing way !

I for one think he will be all revved up to silence the doubters and he has looked to have formed quite an exciting lineup with plenty of balance.

My prediction for what it's worth (which I'm going out on a limb !) is, expect a big season coming up for Cas and Cas admin should be ordering the silver polish in anticipation !!!!

Correct but their form since being in the England Knights setup has drastically dropped becoming two of the worst half backs in the competition.

I would play Obrien ahead of both of them if fit. Only Radford knows how well players are performing in pre season and he will pick his best 6 & 7.

Our half backs are decent.

As some of us have recognised in previous posts in different threads when our half backs are being slated, they have played too frequently behind a pack that hasn’t had enough granite & go forward.

LR’s coaching DNA includes having a robust & dominant pack that gives the half backs room to work in. Young Trueman will benefit from this and silence the doubters.

Part of our coach’s longer term plan probably includes the signature of a half back that excels in open field kicking a la Sneyd or even Brough.

This year will be about staying competitive & securing a play off spot. 2023 is when we will really see what LR can do as a coach as he will have the opportunity to replace the off contract players with players that fit his plans.

One of the new coaches has apparently already left although still waiting for official confirmation from club.

Strange, not strange. Anderson leaves wire as academy coach, Cas academy coach leaves leaves his role. I'll put 2 and 2 together, I reckon Higgins might have been lined up by DP. Seems like they all will follow him. Fine, they'd better hope DP doesn't get sacked.

If anybody is that quick to want to jump ship were better off without them better to get someone who as a sense of loyalty and wants to be down lane
