Home Shirt
Re: Home Shirt
I like the home shirt. That said, I'd still follow Cas if they laked in bin liners fastened down with orange electrician's tape. Sither.

Re: Home Shirt
We’re Amber, not yellow and tigers’ colour is much more like proper Amber than the shade of orange we use in shirts, so don’t accept that at allFevtiger wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 08:07 I don't mind it not the worst shirt bit strange white v on front people keep banging on about amber for the home shirt it will always be black and orange as were called cas tigers and suppose will need to be colour of a tiger for marketing hopefully away shirt will be amber again with how everyone liked it and atleast will stop every1 moaning on hear

Re: Home Shirt
Have a look at a few pictures of Tigers. Their colours, like shades of amber, range through the spectrum between yellow and orange. Haven’t seen any that are as bright as our new shirts, so as I said, I don’t accept your original point.Fevtiger wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 13:44Tigers are orange you plant pot cas might be amber but while there cas tigers gonna have the orange n black for home shirt dont see what the big problem is if you don't like it don't buy it and hopefully away shirt will be amber again so can stop moaning thenTamworth Tiger wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 09:55We’re Amber, not yellow and tigers’ colour is much more like proper Amber than the shade of orange we use in shirts, so don’t accept that at allFevtiger wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 08:07 I don't mind it not the worst shirt bit strange white v on front people keep banging on about amber for the home shirt it will always be black and orange as were called cas tigers and suppose will need to be colour of a tiger for marketing hopefully away shirt will be amber again with how everyone liked it and atleast will stop every1 moaning on hear
I actually don’t have a problem with us going with orange as a colour as well as amber, just think the club are missing out with similar variations on an orange theme, and thought the way the away strip sold last year might have sent them a message.
Having said that, the main selling point this year will
be the names on the shirts, so we will be buying for that reason
Don’t really have anything to say about the infant school playground name calling, but if it makes you feel better…

Re: Home Shirt
orange?????
Re: Home Shirt
Maybe if the brightness had been toned down a little it might’ve been more acceptable, like tangerine as worn by Blackpool FC.

Re: Home Shirt
In reality it’s about why not amber, because it’s clear that for the home shirt colours over the last few years are definitely orange.
On the other hand the other shirts like last year’s away may technically be a shade of amber but they are closer to yellow on the spectrum than the deeper colour traditionally used by the club and seen in tigers’ fur

Tha says that every year no licky no Buyei DOH.
Re: Home Shirt
The Tiger on our badge is clearly orange so im happy to have an orange kit. I really wouldn't care if we was in a yellow kit as long as the team plays entertaining rugby and we win matches.
CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Home Shirt
Whilst I hold quite traditional views when it comes to RL: our colours are black and amber are our colours, I'm not an expansionist. If you hold different views, I respect that. In terms of the use of a bright vivid orange I think that there may be some psychology behind it. As an example, goalkeepers jerseys in football have moved away from the trational green, to vivid pinks and yellows. The psychology behind it is that the goalkeeper is much more visible in the opponents periferral vision, their attention is drawn to where the goalkeeper is, rather than the space in the goal. Transfer that thinking to our defensive line and it might, it might make our defense a little bit tighter. Don't worry or get upset if you think this is all Freudian mumbo jumbo. It's just a shirt at the end of the day. Sither.

Re: Home Shirt
"comeonyoUll" is very anti cas so thats no surprise. for what its worth the orange stands out and looks great under the floodlights. and lets face it thats where we play most of our games these days.the happy hooker9 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2021, 17:20 It would appear that the knives are already out here:

Re: Home Shirt
I don’t mind orange and black in the shirt, but give us something we feel good in.. The new shirt lacks any design style. The plain bland design with its little blocks and plain bands of colour make it look like it was put together on an old pc by a amateur.
