Re: 2022 Squad
If you appreciate the discussions we have on here about selection, imagine the headache Radders has.
Whilst this is a positive, another skill required from a coach is to keep on side those not selected. This can be far harder to achieve but hopefully we start the season with everyone on board.

Yes, it's a dilemma you want. No favourites and take each match individually. Play the right players to win the match.
Re: 2022 Squad
Long season plenty of chances for everyone if radders rotates well. No need to risk anyone who has a slight knock.

Oops, maybe not. According to Yorkshire Live, the jury is still out, Radders suggesting he has another 2 weeks to decide whether he will be offered a contract or not.Brummietiger wrote: ↑23 Jan 2022, 14:54Confirmed as having the number 26 shirt Junior Vasuitogo as per today's team news.Brummietiger wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022, 09:40I thought I saw a snip from somewhere that suggested we had given the army finalist a 12 month contract, Could this be his shirt as unless I'm mistaken, he wasn't announced yesterday.

Think it will be a no on this one.Brummietiger wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 16:57Oops, maybe not. Going only off what i saw at the york game i probly wouldn't sign him, mainly because we have plenty of wingers but also i think hes too green for SL be better suited playing in lower leagues every week for a season to learn his trade rather than just training all year with us.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 17:00Think it will be a no on this one.Brummietiger wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 16:57Oops, maybe not. Re: 2022 Squad
So could the option be to sign him and loan him out to gain the experience?
Re: 2022 Squad
At 26, is there time to do so?

Re: 2022 Squad
I have to agree. Although I really like the idea of these trialists and hope it continues, only a select one or two will make it. Watching him at York and Donny he just looks far too green to me and needs to play a season or 2 in lower leagues to learn the game. He doesn’t seem to have even a basic understanding of the game and looked lost on the field. Time isn’t on his side either. I’d be wishing him all the very best and moving him on. We have good youngsters of our own coming through that time and money would be better spent on.jackknife wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 17:19Going only off what i saw at the york game i probly wouldn't sign him, mainly because we have plenty of wingers but also i think hes too green for SL be better suited playing in lower leagues every week for a season to learn his trade rather than just training all year with us.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 17:00Think it will be a no on this one.Brummietiger wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 16:57Oops, maybe not. Re: 2022 Squad
I agree with a lot of this, might work in the future or even later in the season but nowhere near super League ready yet. If we can afford to keep him and get him ready okay but at the moment he's not in the top 6 wingers at the club.derbystiger wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 19:50I have to agree. Confirmed as having the number 26 shirt Junior Vasuitogo as per today's team news.
