Did you know………
Did you know………
………the highest attendance for a Grand Final was 2017, Cas vs Leeds. A sellout crowd of 77,432. Not bad for a small town in Wakefield!
Re: Did you know………
Interesting given the capacity at Old Trafford is 76,000 and I’m sure they lose seats for the big screen…

Re: Did you know………
I thought that the CAS V LEEDS Grand Final was a sell out -- In 2017 there was a reduction in Old Trafford capacity due to better provision for disabled seating etc

Re: Did you know………
The sources l looked at said we had the highest gate.
I did comment to the boss the crowd seemed to be higher than the capacity.
She in her wisdom said perhaps people of your girth were counted as two.
I think when you consider since The Bulls relegation on Whinos, Stains and Pies have won the final it's hardly surprising it's losing it's attraction of the neutrals and especially to the most prolific winners.
It does not have the same appeal.
But I'll take we had the highest attendance and probably the biggest disappointment.

Taken from Love Rugby League chart listing all attendances for GF, Cup Final and Magic Weekend from 1998.

Decent following when we go well aye.
Re: Did you know………
We took more fans than any other to the 2017 magic weekend ...when the teams playing well like you say people will turn out in numbers to watch

Just been correct by the highest authority.
735,000 is less than three quarters of a million.
Exaggerating again she said with a knowing look.
Any one going tonight.

Re: Did you know………
Me and my Mum are going, Dads not well enough at the moment. Meeting 4 others of our ‘usual crew’ there. Thought it a bit daft that no tickets are being sold in the shop though - I was in Carlton Lanes this morning and thought I’d grab tickets rather than paying on gate and was told online tickets or pay on gate only.old cas lass wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 15:28Me and the daughter are going.casjunction wrote: ↑15 Oct 2021, 15:13 Just been correct by the highest authority.
