It was announced yesterday at the EX players dinner that Allan had had an heart attack and was responding to treatment

Only saw him 3 weeks ago doing his asda shopping.
He looked as fit as a fiddle.

Saw him a few weeks ago and I commented how well he moves for an 80yr old.

A true legend, when the phrase is so often used for mere mortals.
