45,177...must mean old Trafford holds about 150,000...the top tier was not even open, and the rest of the ground was hardly half full... Must have been including bar staff, security teams, and the media teams

The question is, did Makinson prevent a try by deliberate foul play?
If the officials said yes, then it’s a penalty try. If the officials thought that it was not deliberate then it’s a penalty.
The fact that Makinson was sin binned suggests that they thought that there was intended foul play.
As usual the Officials bottled it.

He has a choice, compete in the inappropriately named 'British' league with the referee's that brought him success in that or tootal off back to the French league. I certainly look forward to him pulling out of a GF if they ever qualify to play in it again.
