Re: Lawler signs.
Fantastic bit of business is this. He's not as good as Oggy in terms of attacking and try scoring, but his defence is up there and certainly will add some aggression that we seriously lack. Great signing at 26, still plenty of years left in him. I know KR did all they could to keep him and FC also were in for him.

Re: Lawler signs.
Very similar to a number of players we already have like Milner,Massey and O'Neil so not sure if this type of player is what we required but in Radders we trust.

Re: Lawler signs.
Good signing. Hard as nails and a tackler.
With Matagi, if say the forwards are sorted. Would still like a centre and a young half to push us on.

He is not better than Massey yet.Mucky1978 wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 15:24Better then all 3.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 14:41 Very similar to a number of players we already have like Milner,Massey and O'Neil so not sure if this type of player is what we required but in Radders we trust.
The amount of people who undervalue Masseys contribution to the team still staggers me! He is probably the best at all the little 1%'ers (as SL coaches call them) than any other player in the team. Players like him are worth their weight in gold!

Re: Lawler signs.
I spoke to him on Sunday at the Presentation NIght & he said he's feeling really good and is confident that the surgery has solved the problem with his back. He also said that he'd be ready for pre-season training on day 1 and can't wait to get stuck in again, as he's really missed being out on the field.
Fingers crossed for the lad that he has a good pre-season & hits the ground running next year.
