If they could sort the league that you played both away on 2 weekends, an 8 day holiday watching CAS twice abroad would be great.

Anyone but Fev for me. Most of the ugly scenes I've seen in rugby have been to do with them.
I agree with all three points you make there, particularly the middle one

Be about 15 years ago now I went to watch my mates lad who was playing for Fev after being at Cas for a few years before that with his mum and his partner he was having a decent game till he dropped the ball cold and other team picked it up and scored about three of other wife's and partners stood up shouting you fing Cas ....you fing Cas .......his mum finally stood up and told them what she thought about them
His partner said they hate Cas I thought to myself yeah your not wrong luv

However, I do believe that these 'old' derby's were the bedrock of our game and should have been built upon, not dismissed. Clubs like Fev have been brushed under the RFL carpet and I firmly believe this is part of the reason behind the demise of the game.

Support the game as it's core, allow these clubs to build and then seek to expand. I'm prepared to put up with the natural fertiliser if the game can grown from it.
I agree in part. Cas have had the poopy end of the stick aswell and wakey, in order to retain Huddersfield and Wigan. And one was saved only when crusaders went to the wall.

It would mean much more away support than Toulouse but it would have to be with the extra security needed.

A holiday in the South of France would be lovely. Wouldn't want to stay in lloret and have that bus ride twice.

As anticipated it looks very likely we will have two French Teams in Super League next season that amounts to £70,000 in travel expenses for a cash strapped game and probably less than £200 in a gate receipts from their fans.
Tell me this makes economical sense.

How many overseas players are toulouse allowed.

Every other player in the team is an ex super league semi retired player or overseas player.

Granted there are some good French players...Full back is very good. But its not exactly helping the French national team as we are lead to believe by having a second "French" team in the league

So its Toulouse

With the TV restrictions for French teams not playing on Thursday at home, regular Saturday?- it would appear the Thursday night slot is now even more restricted. If your not one one week, then likely next (or team you are playing)

Goodbye Sunday rugby at The Jungle

Also wonder if the vote to reduce teams in SL to ten in 2023 season will take a twist. They would be likely candidates to get relegated and become another embarrassing backfire decision. (if it was Fev the FRL wouldn't have been so bothered)

True, but are they really going to lose three English Superleague teams leaving only 8 top flight teams in the whole of the U.K.?
Curtains for the game IMO
The basis of the game is the heartlands and the existing fan base won’t swap clubs, so how will the game grow?

It was Hicks' fault from the start, the RFL just didn't want Fev in SL. :D :D :D

Seriously though, Fev just didn't turn up for the first half and whilst they battled well to get back in it, they soon capitulated again when it really mattered.

Quite a few mournful souls staggering down Station Lane last night...

Agree with Mart and Tamworth here, if there could be a plan made where Toulouse and Catalan play in blocks at home to allow fans to maximise a trip that would be well received I suspect by most travelling fans and by the French clubs to have blocks of time, not be flying home and away all the time.
That would of course be sensible, so unlikely to happen!

fev fined £6,000 for fans unacceptable behaviour in consecutive games. looks like super league has dodged a bullet.

They’ll never change Lurcher - Fev ‘fans’ in SL would be a car crash waiting to happen
