Liam Watts

After a poor 2020 was expecting a better season from Liam Watts but for me he seems to had another poor one.
Last couple of years he seems like a different player to the one that we signed. He looked certain to be a England prop forward back then now just a regular forward that struggles to make an impact off the bench?
Hopefully Radford can work some magic on him and get him back to his best.

Covid and bans have hampered him this year, never really been able to string games together. He'll be fine next year.

He also got a chipped bone on his shin, which he did in the hull game.

He’s had a lot to contend with this season.
Let’s hope he as a better year next year.

He looks a lot lighter too and gets pushed back a lot more when tackled than he used to.
To me he looks like a player who is pleased that the season is over.
As a previous poster said, let's hope that Radford can help him get back to the international class prop we saw previously

He lost a lot of weight due to illness.

Needs an off season to get fit and rid of injury. Same with a lot of our players.

Off season and knowing the idiots at the RFL a 2 game rest for that tackle on Ashton,

Sky showed it enough times to try and influence the VR.

He may not have been at the top of his form this season but he hasn't had a bad one. Many times he's carried this team, making the yards and even off-loading for someone else to make the yards.

Still quality for me...

I'm hoping Radford puts some aggression back into our pack. We seem to get bullied a hell of a lot.

I hope the old scary Watts comes back next year.

Sad to say another average super league prop at the moment.

Seems more interested in is other business then rugby.

Hopefully will be back on form next season under his good pal Radford.

well im sick of seeing him & other of our forwards backing into defences on impact to try & get a pass away in stead of trying to drive into them like Matagi.
