Re: Wire
The sport needs to break away and start a fresh on a new channel IMO. One that will never be dictated to.

Re: Wire
Well was suppose to be going out for a meal on Thursday for my birthday.
Gonna have to cancel and go Friday instead.
Really feel for people who have organised days off and bought tickets.
Sky should reimburse those people.

Re: Wire
Neither Sky or the clubs care about season ticket holders, why should they, the money is already trousered.
I stopped getting one three years ago for the same reasons, still get pestered by the club though.
And the RFL & SL have just set up a committee (usual suspects) to sort out the game and falling attendances, I wonder if they will have the marbles to criticise their paymasters at sky.

All games that could have play off implications should have been played at the same time.

Re: Wire
No chance off that no other channel interested why we have now bargain tool for better offer off sky. With out sky money cas, would be finished as full time club for sure. Not so sure why people are always shocked when fixtures moved being happening for last twenty years. Think it's un fare to have all final games not kicking off same time lose to kr today Warrington game comes very vital for top six. Teams playing Friday will now what they have to do before there kick off.heritage1926 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 11:02 The sport needs to break away and start a fresh on a new channel IMO. Re: Wire
We all knew at the beginning of the year that there would be games postponed or cancelled throughout the season because of covid and like every season for many years before games would be moved around by Sky to accommodate the important one's at the season end.
If supporters couldn't think about this and how it would affect them getting to games then the only person to blame is the person buying the season ticket. Stop whinging, think about it and then make the right decision.

Re: Wire
Changing at less then a weeks notice takes the proverbial….
Re: Wire
What a Richard head comment.changing the fixtures at short notice like this is a joke pandemic or not, people plan work, holidays etc around the fixtures so they can attend.when it’s changed like that we are entitled to be a little peed off.Keithy wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 13:07 We all knew at the beginning of the year that there would be games postponed or cancelled throughout the season because of covid and like every season for many years before games would be moved around by Sky to accommodate the important one's at the season end.

Re: Wire
Exactly many will have bought the season ticket more than anything to help the club stay afloat knowing that the season tickets this year were already gunna be a loss, so the least the club and sky could try and do is keep people happy with better kick off times and minimal dirsuption to keep fans happy and hopefully people would renew next year at the moment going from wire and our fans views there’s going to be less people renewing and less money in the sport yet again!Scoopage wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 13:29What a Richard head comment.changing the fixtures at short notice like this is a joke pandemic or not, people plan work, holidays etc around the fixtures so they can attend.when it’s changed like that we are entitled to be a little peed off.Keithy wrote: ↑11 Sep 2021, 13:07 We all knew at the beginning of the year that there would be games postponed or cancelled throughout the season because of covid and like every season for many years before games would be moved around by Sky to accommodate the important one's at the season end.

Re: Wire
I don't agree with the game switch,on this occasion it works in my favour on most occasions it hasn't. The Powell/Wire situation obviously adds something to the game so can see why it's peeked Sky's curiosity. I don't see there's a benefit or disadvantage to us playing Thursday,Win today its irrelevant, lose and we have to beat Wire,we knew this anyway as will the other top six contenders. It's in our hands.
