Preferably 2 but that won't happen. Not this year anyway I assume.

Are we really in such a poor state that the answer to our problems is Ryan Briely?

Re: Half backs for next season
Imagine having Like Gale and Ben Roberts at halfback.
Ben Roberts seemed light years better than our current half backs and he was error prone

When he played.
Re: Half backs for next season
Not for me, Brierley is a full back that plays in the halfs hes fast and can sniff out a try from taking on the line of support play but i dont think hes much good at organising the pack or creating much for our outside backs. We need a half that controls a game n creates space for others n there isn't much out there.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 13:10 Are we really in such a poor state that the answer to our problems is Ryan Briely?

Re: Half backs for next season
This Forum has a fixation with Brierley.
Why?
He's 28yrs of age.
Looks good in the Championsip, but is not Superleague standard.
He's just signed a 2yr deal that takes him to 30yrs old.
Well be having rumours about him until he's drawing his pension.!!!

So 28 is now old for a rugby player.
How many over 30’s we have now in our squad.
I rated him better than Richardson, just my opinion.
Re: Half backs for next season
Agreed i was disappointed he never really got a chance when he was at Cas n thought he was going to be next best thing but he hasn't really kicked on much and has played most of his career scoring tries for a championship side who are beating teams by 60pts a game most weeks.stevieblunder wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 16:40 This Forum has a fixation with Brierley.

Re: Half backs for next season
He's not had a position for years. I think he's probably best at fullback and nowhere near as good as evalds.

Mikey Lewis is playing like I hoped Danny Richardson would. Not a care in the world and with bags of comfidence. Isn't scared to try anything and will keep doing it regardless of mistakes.
