Re: Salford on Saturday
He was totally knackered, couldn’t get there.
Ball player should have made sure there was a player there.
Re: Salford on Saturday
Wasn’t it Faraimo who played ball without checking someone was behind him?

Re: Salford on Saturday
The Leeds win is good for our overall play off hopes.
Hull can’t mathematically make it now.

Re: Salford on Saturday
Yeah, Turner and Shenton centres. Let's face it DP will never drop Shenton anyway.
Would leave matuitia, Turner and Olpherts right edge which could work.
Agree about Claire. Hopefully Eden is back, maybe give QuareQuare a go if not.
Re: Salford on Saturday
I agree with this too. Leaves only Hull KR who can jump above us now and as we play them next week its in our own hands to do the job now.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 22:17 The Leeds win is good for our overall play off hopes.

Re: Salford on Saturday
Hull and Hull KR can both finish above us if we lose our last two games

Re: Salford on Saturday
I thought this yesterday but Hull have a draw, which counts as an extra half a win.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 22:17 The Leeds win is good for our overall play off hopes.

Think mathematically the highest they can get now is 50% so if they lose one they are out, or we win one.
Either way, I think us beating KR pretty much guarantees us and Leeds playoffs.

Re: Salford on Saturday
I like him for that but that was his best run in a play which meant nothing in a game we had already won. He should have done that first run.LeagueLeaders wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:50 That last run from Matagi tells you exactly why we should re-sign the bloke. Last tackle of the game, nothing to come from it, but he still runs as hard as he can

Re: Salford on Saturday
Strange that sticks got the nod for the match especially when qereqere has been in the squad when he wasn't. I think the larger field would have suited him. Sticks did well. You know what your getting with him
Was always going to be a hard game without your first choice 3 half backs and losing Macca early. Oh and your first choice props out aswell.
It showed where we are this season, in and around the playoffs but a real challenge with a fullish squad. With a bit of luck we might go into the playoffs with only truey and feki missing.

Re: Salford on Saturday
This is what the disciplinary as said about Alex fosters tackle v Salford.
Attacking player lifts his own standing leg which destabilises himself and serves to throw himself over.
I think he should get at least a one match ban to deter others from doing the same.

Re: Salford on Saturday
It was clear as day that he had done this, you could see his leg bend and extend for the jump so his legs were above his upper body. Baffled me how the ref gave the penalty in the first placeold cas lass wrote: ↑06 Sep 2021, 14:30 This is what the disciplinary as said about Alex fosters tackle v Salford.

Re: Salford on Saturday
well good weekend of rugby 2 cracking games saturday and 2 sunday didn't stop for last game but we ground out a result with patched up team we had. But my god was it a poor game for new or neutral fan to watch, thank grief we had 2 cracking games to follow especially saints game (they are now number 1 for most arrogant and entitled fans surpassing wigan my god never heard so much complaining about obvious decisions in my life, will be interesting to see what discplinary give out seeing watts ban for hardly a trip). We did what we needed and well done to lads keeps us in hunt but how poor were salford against our halfs and then when mcshane went they did even less. Well done powell got the lads to defend hearts out without any decent kicking game from us. Hopefully we have some halves back soon and well done to milner as looked good covering for mcshane, players back onwards and upwards hopefully and we could give someone a fright in playoffs still optimistic about our chances
Re: Salford on Saturday
If you’re referring to Paasi, he got 3 games
Re: Salford on Saturday

Baffled me a bit that, widely reported on all the media outlets that he got 2 games while the RL Disciplinary website clearly states 3.
