Wigan
Re: Wigan
Yeah same old carry on ... we could do with Wigan beating Leeds on the other hand
Batemans looked a shadow of the player that played for Canberra when I've watched Wigan this season tho

Re: Wigan
There is an interesting case in the disciplinary minutes, Jackson Hastings of Wigan cited for a high tackle during the Hull v HKR match!
Re: Wigan
Especially after tonight against Hull. Sent to the bin for getting wrong-footed.

Re: Wigan
I have to say, watching it, I was disappointed. But if that was Savellio on Evalds in the 20M region I’d have been livid.
That was a marginal one. And cost us nothing in the end. Thankfully

Re: Wigan
No surprise Lam is going, considering the investment in that squad they've had a very poor return, creatively last night they were very poor and don't seem to have addressed that so far in their signings for next season, a couple of props and a squad player not going to cut it with the Pie eaters fans. Cue some serious cheque book action.

Re: Wigan
Leeds weren’t much better, a lucky tap back that could have gone anywhere for the one and only try.

I know Wigan nilled us a couple of weeks ago but I’m happier with the direction we seem to be going in

Re: Wigan
Wigan have yet to recruit.
They definitely need a couple of props, we need at least one.
As for us being in a better position than Wigan, not sure, they beat us twice. Nilling us 22 0.
If Wigan recruit a decent coach, wane maybe. They’ll be a different beast next year.
I think it’ll take a season for all our new players plus a new coach to gell.
Time will tell.
Re: Wigan
They've already signed 2 props from the NRL for next season and a winger from London, but I'm sure there'll be more as it seemed to be creativity they were missing rather than beef whereas I think our signing address our needs a bit better. Where they will be more concerned is the gate last night, under 7,500 for a play off game is poor for Wigan.old cas lass wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 12:59Wigan have yet to recruit.

Pretty sure Wigan will be there or there about next season, but not very confident Cas will be.

Re: Wigan
My main worry about us is, the team gelling, plus radford totally changing the way we play.Sharlotiger wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 15:54Pretty sure Wigan will be there or there about next season, but not very confident Cas will be.
It could totally freshen. Us up, or go the other way, we look all at odds.
We’ll have to wait and see.

I'd be very surprised if Wigan finish above Cas next seasonSharlotiger wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 15:54Pretty sure Wigan will be there or there about next season, but not very confident Cas will be.

Re: Wigan
That’s where I am. I know we all have financial problems but those Wigan fans who stayed away last night will take some persuading to return because they believe they are entitled to success.tigerfeat wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 16:16I'd be very surprised if Wigan finish above Cas next seasonSharlotiger wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 15:54Pretty sure Wigan will be there or there about next season, but not very confident Cas will be.
I agree that we have got used to expecting more these last few years but I think that we will be able to draw reasonable crowds if the team is playing with pride and belief. Hope I’m right!
