Just read where the football club may be raising there rent to the extent they may have to look for somewhere else to play

Re: Wigan
Their biggest challenge will be finding a ground with state of the art exit facilities that function efficiently when under pressure as a result of a mass exodus when there is still 15 minutes left......

Well, after a fairly depressing meeting with the accountant this evening, this has just cheered me up

Re: Wigan
they have been slowly developing robin park (which they own) just a stones throw away. lenaghan has been urging the fans to use the bar there pre game as they don't receive any income from refreshments at the dw stadium. problem is its capacity at the moment is only about 8,000.

Re: Wigan
Is this the first time a club have finished a game with more sin-binnings than points?
There will be a few of them out when we play them next week.

Firstly the tackle on welsby with out the ball, intent on hurting the player.
Secondly, the disgusting eye gauging on Percival I think it was.
Isa never looked at the high ball, just went straight for Percival’s face.
How the hell he stayed on the field is beyond me.
It’s a wonder a saints player didn’t flatten him.
I think warmsley tried.
I hope Kendal get a nice long rest next week.
He’s so weak.

Re: Wigan
You’ve missed out his elbow to the face on Grace at the play the ball OCL. Isa has turned into a proper Wigan grub over the last few seasons. Kendal a disgrace tonight letting it all goold cas lass wrote: ↑20 Aug 2021, 22:40Isa will defiantly be out.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑20 Aug 2021, 22:29 Is this the first time a club have finished a game with more sin-binnings than points?

Yes that one as well, I think there’s another, someone on twitter as highlighted them all, I’m sure there were 4/5.derbystiger wrote: ↑20 Aug 2021, 22:49You’ve missed out his elbow to the face on Grace at the play the ball OCL. He’s just an out and out thug.
As no place on a rugby field.
He should easily get 4 games.
Bentley also is a ‘grub’ every tackle he either went high or used his shoulder. He’s another one who deserves a ban.
He was the same last week against us.
I won’t hold my breath though.
Re: Wigan
How did Bentley stay on pitch for that kick - identical to the Ollie Holmes at Headingley last season

Re: Wigan
Having watched it live I simply cannot believe the incident with Percival (Percy) wasn't regarded as a more serious incident. Isa made no attempt to even look at the ball never mind try to catch it. He looks straight at Percy, raises his had with no other obvious reason that to put his hand in Percy's face.old cas lass wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 14:57 4 matches for isa.

Re: Wigan
Agreed. How he stayed on the field so long is beyond me. It was obvious the red mist had descended and he was asking for another card over and over. Amazed he was not subbed off either.FIat Capper wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 15:56Having watched it live I simply cannot believe the incident with Percival (Percy) wasn't regarded as a more serious incident.
